Nick Wayne was unable to dethrone Bandido, with the World Champion retaining his title at ROH Death Before Dishonor on Friday. Wayne challenged Bandido for the ROH World Championship at the PPV in a match that went a little over 22 and a half minutes.
Wayne had Bandido on the ropes more than once and got a number of near victories. The finish of the match saw Wayne hit a low blow after shoving Bandido into the referee. Wayne hit Wayne’s World and a Prodigy Plex, but Bandido was able to reverse the cover into a cruicifix pin for the victory.
You can see the clips from the ROH Death Before Dishonor match below. Bandido’s World Title reign stands at 503 days, having won the title from Chris Jericho at AEW Dynasty 2025.
