Braun Strowman Responds To Fan Suggestion for Feud With Oba Femi: ‘They Can’t Afford Me!’

In a post on his Instagram account, Braun Strowman shared a video where he’s spotted in the gym. He also had a playful response to a fan suggestion that he’s needed in WWE for a storyline with “The Ruler” himself, Oba Femi.

Braun wrote in the caption of the video, “I’ll never ask a stranger for a spot!!!! But to make it heavier, I’ll steal your girl!!!!!!!! Stranger Danger!! #HopeSheDidntBelongToYou #lifting #braunstrowman #strong #heavy”

A user later commented on the Instagram post, later writing, “We need a storyline with you and OBA stat!!!!!!” That prompted a response from Strowman, who playfully wrote, “They can’t afford me lol.”

Strowman was released by WWE in May 2025. Although Braun Strowman is no longer part of the WWE roster, WWE Studios produces his unscripted culinary show, Everything on the Menu With Braun Strowman. The hit series returns for its second season on USA Network on Friday, June 5, 11:00 p.m. ET/PT, following Friday Night SmackDown.
