Bully Ray Weighs In On What John Cena May Announce At WWE Backlash

John Cena has teased a big announcement during his appearance at WWE Backlash, and Bully Ray recently theorized what it could be. As noted, Cena is set to make an appearance at Saturday’s PLE and has a big announcement set. Cena recently teased that the announcement will “shock the very foundation of WWE, from its fans to its superstars, from its champions down to its rookies.”

Before that tease, Bully Ray spoke on Busted Open Radio and discussed what the announcement could be. He predicted a possible WrestleMania announcement or, alternately, the announcement of a physical WWE Hall of Fame location. You can see highlights below (per Wrestling Inc):

On What He Thinks Cena May Announce:

“I think a WrestleMania announcement is fair. I think much like The Rock announced where WrestleMania was going to be, I think Cena coming out and saying WrestleMania after Saudi is in Nashville, maybe New Orleans, or whatever city they decided to go with. I think that’s a fair announcement. What else would be history-making news? Announcing the next site for WrestleMania, would you use the term ‘history-making news?’ Well, for the first time in history, WrestleMania is coming to Nashville. There’s how you play with those words.”

On An Alternate Idea Of What It Could Be:

“Because it’s just going to take three years to be built, maybe. ‘We’re breaking ground on the WWE Hall of Fame.'”
