Carlito Reflects On Taking Bron Breakker’s Spear, His Proudest Line

Carlito took Bron Breakker’s most famous spear yet, and he recently reflected on the experience. The WWE alumnus took a massive spear from Breakker on the April 7th, 2025 episode of WWE Raw. The moment saw Breakker race down the entrance way and wipe Carlito out, a moment that became a viral sensation.

Carlio weighed in on the moment in his appearance on Insight With Chris Van Vliet. He noted that it definitely hurt and he’s still feeling it today, but enjoyed the memes that came out of it. He also talked about which promo line he’s most proud of. You can see the highlights below:

On What Lines He’s Most Proud Of:

“I think the one I get a lot is, ‘Looks hard to me,’ or something that, wasn’t my line. That’s one of the few that wasn’t my line. I don’t know who came up with that, one of the writers or something. But yeah, that’s one of the lines I get the most.”

On Breakker’s Spear:

“Yeah, he’s fast, and it still hurts today [laughs]. But I’m glad everyone had a little viral moment there. I saw the memes, it was funny.

On If It Hurt:

“Wrestling-wise, painful? Yeah, it’s not great. I mean, I don’t recommend it to everybody, but yeah, I survived.”
