Charlie Dempsey has embraced his legacy, betraying Tavion Knight and joining The Birthright on this week’s WWE NXT. Dempsey turned heel on Heights during a tag team match on Tuesday’s show.

Dempsey and Heights were teaming up in a NQCC reunion to battle Uriah Connors and Lexis King from the stable of second-generation wrestlers. The match came after weeks of The Birthright trying to recruit Dempsey and being rebuffed. Late in the match, Dempsey and Heights were on the outside of the ring when Dempsey’s father William Regal came out from the back with Fit Finlay, who is Connors’ father.

Dempsey looked back and saw the two legends and grabbed Heights, hitting a German suplex on the outside. He tossed Heights back in the ring and King pinned Heights with the Coronation.

After the match, Dempsey entered the ring and joined with King, Connors, Stacks, and Arianna Grace to join the group. You can see a clip of the heel turn below.

Dempsey was part of the No Quarter Catch Crew since its founding in February of 2023. Heights and Myles Borne were both members but split from the group last summer. Dempsey was at last word still allied with the group, which is now the WrenQCC and consists of Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey.
