WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair recently reacted to CM Punk stealing her robe for his entrance at a live event last week.
On July 11, WWE held a live event as part of its ongoing Summer Tour in Las Cruces, Mexico. In the main event, Punk teamed up with former Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to take on Gunther and Ricky Saints. However, the biggest talking point from the event was CM Punk making his entrance in Charlotte Flair’s robe. Flair also appeared at the ramp, quickly removed the robe from Punk’s shoulders, and paid her respects to the Chicago native.
The Queen recently appeared on WFAN and revealed the backstory behind the now-viral moment. She also teased taping her hands or wrists like Punk in a future match.
Here’s what Charlotte Flair said:
“I think he’d been trying to get my attention for like five minutes, and I was talking to two of the boys that just had a match, and we were talking about their match; it was Melo and Trick Williams. I look over, and I see the collar of my robe, and I’m like, ‘What the?’ I go in there, and he has it. He couldn’t even get it on. He was like, ‘Follow me on my entrance,’ which is so cool when the guys want to incorporate the women into the show. I got to tape my hands or wrists for a match now.”

Punk made his return to WWE TV after a 2.5-month absence during the July 6 episode of Monday Night RAW, challenging Sami Zayn and ultimately capturing the Undisputed WWE Title. He is set to defend his gold against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2026. However, before they lock horns with each other, Punk and Cody will team up to take on Gunther and Zayn at Saturday Night’s Main Event tomorrow night.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Flair is currently embroiled in a bitter feud with former WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill.
