Chelsea Green Provides Another Update on Her Ankle Injury

Former WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green recently provided an update on her injury. Green injured her ankle while competing in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Triple Threat Match against Tiffany Stratton and Lash Legend on the February 6, 2026, episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Despite the injury, Chelsea continues to feature on WWE TV, albeit in a wheelchair and with a walking boot. In a recent interview with The Ghosts of Hollywood, Chelsea commented on her injured ankle, revealing that the inner ankle bone is “chipped and cracked.”

However, the inaugural Women’s United States Champion believes that she is on a “good trajectory” to make a “solid” return. “My ankle; it’s broken. The inner ankle bone chipped and cracked. It’s very much broken. A lot of people are questioning that. I’m able to [put] weight there. I feel like we’re on a good trajectory to make a solid comeback,” she said. [H/T: Fightful]

Before she got injured, Chelsea Green was scheduled to team up with Ethan Page defend the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship against Mr. Iguana and Lola Vice on the February 7 episode of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. She was ultimately replaced by La Hiedra. Page and Hiedra would go on to drop the title to Iguana and Vice.
