CM Punk made his appearance at WWE NXT’s live event on Saturday, competing in a match and selling for Vanity Project’s Myka Lockwood. Saturday night’s show in St. Petersburg, Virginia saw Punk make his previously announced appearance as he teamed with NXT Tag Team Champions Myles Borne & Tavion Heights against Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes of Vanity Project. Punk, Heights, and Borne ultimately picked up the win in the main event
Before the match, Punk stepped up to Lockwood, who is the stable’s enforcer, and the two stared each other down while flexing. Lockwood made her presence known during the match as she powerbombed Punk, though it wasn’t enough to stop the babyface trio from winning.
CM Punk posted to his Instagram stories after the match, writing:
““Thank you to all the fans who came out tonight. You were BEAUTS. Amazing energy. Thank you Petersburg VA! Special thank you to all @wwenxt talent and crew. My heart is so full. I love this. I am so grateful, and appreciative of everyone’s hard work. What a life!”
