As previously reported, Paramount Pictures held a special presentation for Street Fighter during CinemaCon this week, with WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes appearing in costume and in character as Colonel Guile. On Thursday (Apr. 16), Paramount Pictures held its studio keynote presentation for CinemaCon, with the main cast all appearing live onstage at the Caesar’s Palace Colosseum to promote the new trailer release, including Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, who portrays Akuma in the upcoming feature.

Reigns, who was present during the studio keynote presentation, was not in attendance at the earlier Wednesday night event. When Cody Rhodes came out onstage, still in costume, Reigns even made a crack about Cody doing this to be like his mentor, John Cena. Cody only glibly replied, “Try Ulysses S. Grant.”

Other cast members on hand for the presentation included Noah Centineo (Ken Masters), Andrew Koji (Ryu), Callina Liang (Chun-Li), Vidyut Jammwal (Dhalsim), David Dastmalchian (M. Bison), Eric Andre (Don Sauvage), Andrew Schulz (Dan Hibiki), and 50 Cent (Balrog). UFC ring announcer Bruce Buffer served as the emcee for the segment.

After Andre made his entrance, he started a playful rivalry with Buffer, with the two men trading off announcing the cast, competing to see who is the better announcer.

Street Fighter Co-Star Andrew Schulz Plays Heated Rivalry Bit With Cody Rhodes at CinemaCon

Andrew Schulz also appeared onstage, wearing a neck brace and acting injured. One of the cast members asked him what was wrong. Schulz claimed that he and Cody Rhodes were watching Heated Rivalry the night before, and things got a little out of hand. Schulz asked Cody if he wanted to talk more about it, and Cody silently said no. ‘

Schulz then continued the bit, saying what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. He also talked about watching the Street Fighter movie in 4DX, which is like how he felt watching Heated Rivalry. He then said Mortal Kombat is a great movie that everyone should support, then asked anyone else to continue talking. The comedian has made multiple appearances on WWE programming in the past.

Street Fighter, based on the iconic Capcom fighting game franchise, will be hitting theaters on October 16, 2026. You can check out the latest trailer release below:
