Court Bauer Gives Update On MLW Negotiations With Bishop Dyer

Court Bauer recently provided an update on MLW’s discussions with Bishop Dyer amid reports that Dyer is headed back to WWE. It has been reported that Dyer, aka Baron Corbin, is expected to return to WWE. He is one half of the MLW Tag Team Champions and MLW noted on last weekend’s Fusion that the company is in a “contract dispute” with Dyer.

Bauer appeared on Fightful’s In The Weeds with Jeremy Lambert and SP3 and said that negotiations are ongoing, but Dyer is playing hardball.

“Conversations are fluid, but he recently dug in and is playing hardball,” Bauer said. “I want to be transparent with our audience and fans. We got to a certain point where it’s not looking great, and we’re at an impasse. Obviously, there are rumors about Bishop, his future, and where he’s going next. This may get done, it may not get done, and I wanted everyone to be aware of it.”

He continued, “If I have the opportunity to disclose what’s going on, I would like to, and do it in a way where the audience has context. I’m confident we can try to get something done; it just has to make sense for both parties. He’s been an amazing talent and great team player.”
