Darby Allin notched up yet another successful defense of his AEW World Championship to close out this week’s episode of Collision.

The Daredevil defended his title against Sammy Guevara in a No Countout match in the main event. Allin was pushed on the back foot by Sammy even before the bell rang, as he Stomped the champion and then hit a Senton Bomb off the top of a ladder at the ramp.

Guevara went for Go to Hell, but Allin countered it with the Scorpion Death Lock. However, he fell on the mat after feeling dizzy. Sammy threw his best shots, including the Three Amigos, a Spanish Fly, a Cutter, a Flying Double Stomp, Go to Hell (twice), and a Frog Splash, but Darby refused to give up.

The closing moments of the match saw Sammy Guevara attempt a 630 Splash through a table. However, Allin moved away, and the challenger crashed through the table. Allin rolled Guevara in the ring and nailed a Coffin Drop to secure the pinfall.

This was Allin’s sixth successful defense. He has previously overcome Tommaso Ciampa, Brody King, Kevin Knight, PAC, and Konosuke Takeshita. Darby will defend the championship against MJF in a Title vs. Hair Match at Double or Nothing next Sunday. However, before that, he will defend it against “Speedball” Mike Bailey this Wednesday.
