A new report has some details on WWE’s deal with Perth and Western Australia after WrestlePalooza was announced last month. WWE announced in late August that they had expanded their partnership with the Western Australian Government through Tourism Western Australia, with the new deal lasting through 2028 and including a PLE there each year.
According to Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, a PLE weekend is planned for Perth each year for the next three years and a source said that one of the three could be reserved for a “major” PLE. That source the potential options include Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble, and that 2028 could be the potential year to bring one of the “big four” PLEs to the city.
The WWE Royal Rumble took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this year, and is returning to the US for 2027 when it will take place in Glendale, Arizona. This year’s Survivor Series is set for November 28th, at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas.
Perth will host the second annual WrestlePalooza on December 12th as part of a WWE Weekend Takeover. That deal will include Smackdown in the RAC Arena on December 11th, Wrestlepalooza: Perth on December 12th, and WWE Raw on December 14th.
