First Matches, Danhausen Official For NXT Halloween Havoc

WWE has the first two matches officially set for NXT Halloween Havoc following this week’s episode of WWE NXT. It was announced on Tuesday’s show that Wren Sinclair will get her NXT Women’s Championship match against Kelani Jordan at the PLE. Robert Stone ruled that while Sinclair was suspended when she won last week’s #1 contenders battle royale, she still won the match and deserves her title shot.

In addition, Tony D’Angelo secured a match against Grayson Waller for the NXT Championship on the show. D’Angelo battled Myles Borne in a match to determine who Waller would defend his title against. Borne was distracted toward the end of the match by the cameraman, who had a mask on, and that allowed D’Angelo to hit Dead to Rights to win the match. The cameraman revealed himself after the match to be a returning Tavion Heights, who attacked Borne and put him through the announce table with a powerbomb.

It was also announced that Danhausen will be the host for the show. The end of the episode saw Robert Stone find a note in his office reading, “Make me the host of Halloween Havoc or you are cursed!” Shawn Michaels then confirmed the news afterward on Twitter.

You can see the updated card below for NXT Halloween Havoc. The show takes place on October 31st from the and airs live on The CW, ESPN Unlimited, and on Netflix internationally.
