FTR Capture Third AEW World Tag Team Titles at AEW Full Gear 2025

FTR achieved the hat trick at AEW Full Gear 2025. They unseated former AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido (Brody King and Bandido), winning the AEW World Tag Team Titles for the third time at the pay-per-view event.

Bandido gave FTR the fight of his life near the end of the bout. He kicked out of a Spike Piledriver. However, he eventually fell prey to another Shatter Machine. That was enough to score a pinfall victory.

This ends Brodido’s first and so far only tag team title run at 90 days. They previously won the titles at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 in August. FTR haven’t been champions in over two years, so they are finally back on top of the division for the first time in a while. They also brought on Stokely Hathaway as their new manager earlier this year.

With FTR now sitting in the catbird’s seat, Brodido will now have to fight their way back to the top. It will be interesting to see how the title change shakes up the division in the coming weeks.
