Hangman Page Returns on AEW Collision; Declares He Won’t Ever Challenge For World Title & Puts Other Champions On Notice

Former AEW World Champion Hangman Page made a heroic return to weekly programming in front of home fans in Roanoke, Virginia, on tonight’s episode of Collision and addressed his future in the company.

Hangman has been away from television since losing the high-stakes Texas Deathmatch for the AEW World Championship to MJF at Revolution. The defeat meant that he couldn’t challenge for the world title again. Page talked about his hobby of gardening and noted that he’s found something beautifully therapeutic about planting a seed and that it was important for him to return tonight and plant one more seed.

He reflected on putting his ability to challenge for the AEW World Title against MJF at Revolution and said that he intends to be a man of his word and never go after the world title again. Page mentioned Kenny Omega’s monumental victory over MJF this past Wednesday night and his post-match promo about never giving up.

Hangman Page then turned his attention toward other champions in the company, i.e., TNT Champion Kevin Knight, whom he called “current dipsh*t.” Continental Champion Jon Moxley, National Champion Mark Davis, and International Champion Kyle Fletcher. Page noted that for the last seven years, his goal had been to capture the World Title, and now that he can no longer go after that, he is faced with the question, “Who is Hangman without the world championship?” While he admitted that he doesn’t know the answer, he’s sure that fans will soon know about it.
