Hazuki Defeats Persephone to Advance to Owen Cup Semifinals With Mercedes Mone, Brawls With Mone Post-Match

Former AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone brawled with her upcoming opponent, Hazuki, to close out this week’s episode of Collision. Hazuki, who made her AEW debut last weekend, went one-on-one with Persephone in the opening round of the 2026 Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament to close out tonight’s show.

Hazuki executed the Lung Blower and followed it up with a Magistral Cradle to secure a pinfall victory. She will now face last year’s winner, Mercedes Mone, in the semifinals.

After the match, Mone came out and attacked Persephone from behind, nailing her with the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament belt before applying the Statement Maker.

Hazuki ran down and saved Persephone. However, as checked on the CMLL World Women’s Champion, Mone attacked her from behind and continued to rain down blows until security officials intervened. Hazuki pounced on Mone after the latter left the ring and brawled with her as security officials tried to separate them.

Mercedes returned to AEW TV after a six-month break on this week’s episode of Dynamite. She defeated Alex Windsor in the first round of the Owen Cup to book her spot in the semis.
