– During a recent edition of the DDP Snake Pit podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Jake Roberts detailed an incident with Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig and WWE CEO & Chairman Vince McMahon having a “shoot” fight in a hotel room the night before a TV taping.
Jake Roberts said on the incident (via WrestlingInc.com), “They spread the beds apart and they started shooting on each other. [Mr.] Perfect [Curt Hennig] wound up fighting Vince.” He continued, “Vince won’t give up, so Perfect grinds him even more.”
Additionally, Roberts explained that Hennig was wearing a rolex watch when this incident occurred, “and it just so happened that it was right across Vince’s ear, and about the third time he drove into him, blood shot across the room.”
After this, Vince McMahon and the wrestlers are said to have broken into the minibar of Ric Flair, creating a $600 bill on Flair’s tab. Roberts added, “It was quite the day.” He continued on the TV taping the next day, “It’s a ghost town. Nobody was there”
Roberts also said on McMahon, “His ear had been broken in half. Bad night in San Antonio.”
