Jesse Ventura Teases New Run For Governor, Talks Minnesota Incidents

Jesse Ventura has teased the notion of running for Governor of Minnesota following recent events in the state. Minnesota is currently the focus of ICE raids, during which the fatal shooting of a woman named Renee Good. The incident has led to nationwide outrage, and a confrontation at Roosevelt High School led to federal agents tackling several people and deploying pepper spray.

Ventura was interviewed about the RHS incident and shared his unfiltered throughs. Ventura, who previously served as governor from 1999 to 2003, noted that he may run for a new term. You can see the highlights below:

On the Roosevelt High School Incident:

“Good for these people who stood up. They’re teaching their students something, that we are a country, we have to be a country of law and a country of the Constitution. They’re all forgetting about the Constitution of the United States of America. We don’t even have it anymore. After January 6th, are you kidding me?”

On Potentially Running For Governor Again:

“You know what? Maybe it’s time for Jesse. I only did one term. I’m owed a second.”

On Trump:

“I spent 17 months in Southeast Asia while the draft-dodging coward was playing golf. Most of my friends and I are Vietnam veterans. The rich white boys never had to go, did they? Yet he’s going to tell me what courage is?”

Ventura has appeared on WWE TV several times for their Saturday Night’s Main Event broadcasts in the past year.
