Jim Ross has provided a new update following his brain surgery, and says that his goal is to work AEW All In: London at the end of the month. As reported, the AEW announcer and WWE Hall of Famer underwent surgery last week to remove excess fluid and having a shunt put in.
JR posted to his Twitter account to give fans an update. He wrote:
“Full day of rehab and physical therapy as I’m one step closer to going home.
Appreciate all your well wishes.
Goal is to work Wembley Stadium at the end of August.”
AEW All In: London takes place on August 30th at Wembley Stadium in London. If Jim Ross can work the show, it would be his first since AEW Double Or Nothing in May. He has undergone a variety of health issues since then.
On behalf of 411, our best wishes to JR.
Full day of rehab and physical therapy as I’m one step closer to going home.
