Joe Doering Honored With 10 Bell Salute At TNA Slammiversary

TNA paid tribute to Joe Doering at TNA Slammiversary, honoring the late TNA star with a 10 bell salute at the PPV. Sunday’s PPV opened with a salute to Doering and the TNA roster on the entrance stage with a moment of silence.
Doering passed away on Thursday after years of battling cancer. He was 44 years old.
Cody Deaner spoke after the salute about how he could speak about Doering all night, but was going to highlight Doering’s sense of loyalty to his friends, his passion for the business, and his strength as a person. He talked about how he was able to say goodbye to his friend and that Slammiversary would be their chance to all tell Doering how much they loved hgim. He dedicated the show to Doering.
Joe Doering stepped away from TNA in August of 2022 due to his brain tumor returning, and had a third reoccurrence in December of last year. He entered hospice on June 22nd.
