Kairi Sane has taken to social media to address reports around her exit from WWE, noting that she’s “never walked away.” It was reported earlier today that Sane, who was among those released by the company on Friday, had indicated that she wished to return to Japan. Sane has already returned to her home country following the news that she was let go.
Sane posted to Twitter on Tuesday, writing:
“What I can say is I know there’s been a lot of speculation, but I truly love this work, my teammates, and my fans.
I’ve never walked away, and I’ve given my all in everything I do.
I hope you’re all doing well.”
Kairi Sane was released alongside Aleister Black, Zelina Vega, the Motor City Machine Guns, the Wyatt Sick and more on Friday. She was part of the feud between Asuka and IYO SKY on WWE TV up until her release. Fans chanted “We Want Kairi” during a segment on this week’s Raw when Asuka attacked SKY.
