Kevin Knight addressed his surprising turn on Darby Allin that ended AEW Double Or Nothing on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite before being confronted by Mike Bailey. As noted, Knight turned on Allin after the main event of Sunday’s PPV, leaping off the top to splash Allin on a stretcher. The move seemingly came out of nowhere, given how close Knight and Allin are.

Knight came to the ring to open Wednesday’s show to the boos of the audience. Knight said that he had told Allin not to let him and the fans down, but he did just like the Philadelphia 76ers did against the New York Knicks. Knight said that he was no longer going to trust the process and would instead take matters into his own hands. He pointed out that he was the last person to pin MJF and should have been in the main event instead of MJF, but he had to watch as Allin lost. Knight said Allin always told him not to waste any time, so he didn’t.

That led to Bailey making their way to the ring. Bailey said they knew how vicious Knight is and that it is both his best and worst quality. They said Knight made a mistake when it came to Allin and asked Knight to apologize and make things right. Bailey offered a handshake, but Knight brushed by, then turned and hit Bailey with the microphone. Knight then nearly left, but came back and hit Bailey with a Rock Bottom before leaving.
