Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer have been at each other’s throats ever since the former won the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble match to earn herself a world championship match at WrestleMania 42.

In the weeks following the Royal Rumble, Morgan and Vaquer would have several confrontations. La Primera even hijacked Liv’s interview with Michael Cole on an episode of Monday Night RAW, during which she downplayed Morgan’s achievements. Vaquer detailed her struggles in her journey to the top of the chain in the biggest wrestling promotion in the world while claiming that Liv had it easy, as she had access to top-tier training facilities in WWE.

This left Morgan distraught. The Judgment Day member would eventually pick Stephanie as her WrestleMania 42 opponent. During a recent interview with Brad Gilmore of Reality of Wrestling, Morgan revealed why she opted to go after the Women’s World Champion. She also brought up Stephanie’s comments that she has had it easy. While Liv admitted that what Stephanie said is true, she claimed that La Primera wouldn’t have lasted 12 years in WWE as she has.

Liv Morgan makes a bold claim about Stephanie Vaquer

“I think about the journey every single Monday that I’m at RAW, and I’m proud of my journey. I feel like it’s so much sweeter because it was on my time, and I did it my way, and I’ve always honored and stayed true to myself the entire time. It’s funny because Stephanie says, ‘You had the best of the best for your whole career,’ which is true, but the flip side of that is, Stephanie, there’s no way she would have lasted 12 years in WWE. She would have been gone.”
