Liv Morgan Reveals Why She Picked Stephanie Vaquer as Her WrestleMania 42 Opponent

Former Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan recently revealed why she opted to pick Stephanie Vaquer as her opponent for WrestleMania 42.

Liv Morgan emerged triumphant in the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this past January, last-eliminating Tiffany Stratton to punch her ticket to WrestleMania 42. After weeks of mulling over who she should go after at The Show of Shows, Liv finally picked Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer as her WrestleMania opponent.

In a recent conversation with Brad Gilmore of Reality of Wrestling, The Judgment Day member revealed that multiple reasons forced her to pick La Primera as her WrestleMania 42 opponent.

She said:

“I went for Stephanie for a multitude of reasons. One, she put her hands on Daddy Dom. Two, she is terrorizing my sister, Raquel Rodriguez. Three, she tried to embarrass me and diminish all my hard work and accomplishments over the last 12 years of my career, and so I’m excited to personally inform her at WrestleMania.”
