Mark Nash Thanks John Cena Following Final WWE Smackdown Appearance Of Retirement Run

Smackdown’s ring announcer Mark Nash took to social media to express gratitude to John Cena after the latter’s final Smackdown appearance of his retirement run. Cena appeared on Friday’s show in his final Smackdown as an active performer. Nash posted to his Threads account to praise Cena, writing:

“Thank you @johncena for this once in a lifetime opportunity. I’ve been in the ring to introduce World Title Fights in boxing, but this is easily one of the most memorable & iconic introductions that I will carry with me forever. The past couple of months having the privilege of introducing The Greatest of All Time, The Never Seen Seventeen on Friday Night Smackdown has truly been an honor! Thank you.”

Cena worked a lengthy match with Sami Zayn on the show, which was interrupted by Brock Lesnar coming down and attacking both men. Lesnar will be facing Cena at Wrestlepalooza on September 20th.
