Matt Cardona Reportedly Done With Impact For Time Being

Matt Cardona is finished with Impact Wrestling for the time being, according to a new report. Fightful Select reports that Cardona is finished with the company for now, noting that he has been working without a contract for the past couple of years. Impact was reportedly looking to sign him to a deal that would guarantee dates and while Cardona was happy with the idea of maintaining the dates, he wanted to do it on the same handshake deal they had been working under which Impact didn’t want to do.

The site says that Impact has been more adamant on signing talent to deals, such as Nick Aldis’ short-term contract to return recently. There isn’t any drama between Cardona and Impact according to sources, and they are both open to working together in the future.
