MJF Comments On Tama Tonga’s Hidden Blade, Says It’s Better Than Will Ospreay’s

MJF took notice of Tama Tonga’s video highlighting his version of the Hidden Blade, with the AEW World Champion calling it better than Will Ospreay’s. Tonga has begun using the maneuver, popularized by Ospreay, in matches on WWE TV. The MFT member shared a video to Twitter of him hitting the move with some dramatic editing, as you can see below.

MJF replied to the post, writing:

“Wayyyyyyyy better than Ospreay man”

Tonga hit the move on Carmelo Hayes on this week’s episode of WWE Smackdown. It was the finish of a 10-man tag team match putting Tonga, Solo Sikoa, Talla Tonga, Tonga Loa, and JC Mateo against Hayes, Ilja Dragunov, Shinsuke Nakamura, Apollo Crews, and Matt Cardona.

Tonga and Solo Sikoa are the current WWE Tag Team Champions, having defeated the Wyatt Sicks on the January 23rd episode of WWE Smackdown. Hayes is the current WWE United States Champion. Meanwhile, MJF defeated Brody King to retain the AEW World Championship at Grand Slam Australia and will next defend the title against Hangman Page at AEW Revolution next month. He has faced Ospreay twice before; having traded the AEW International Championship back and forth in dual matches in July and August of 2024.
