NJPW Best of the Super Juniors 33 Night 8 Results (5/27): El Desperado, Taiji Ishimori, Francesco Akira & More Compete

The eighth night of New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s (NJPW) Best of the Super Juniors 33 took place at Shizuoka, Kiramesse Numazu, on Friday, May 27.

The night saw two multi-person bouts, a one-on-one contest between Tatsuya Matsumoto and Taisei, several Block B bouts, and a solitary Block A match.

In Block B, El Desperado picked up two points at the expense of Jakob Austin Young to join SHO at the top of the table. In the solitary Block A contest, Francesco Akira defeated Jun Kasai to move to eight points.
