Note On Gabe Kidd Injury At AEW Dynasty

Gabe Kidd suffered an injury in the ring at Sunday’s AEW Dynasty, and a new report has an update on matter. As noted Kidd was apparently injured during The Dogs’ World Trios Championship match at Sunday’s PPV. He was taken to the back about midway through the match.
According to Fightful Select, Kidd did appear to be legitimately injured upon being brought backstage and was holding his wrist. Obviously, the competitors had to call the rest of the match on a changed plan without Kidd.
The Conglomeration, including a returning Kyle O’Reilly, defeated The Dogs for the titles. It’s not yet clear whether the finish was changed as a result of Kidd’s injury. The Dogs had won the championships just a day ago at AEW Collision (technically four days ago, as Collision was taped after Dynamite).
No word as of yet on the severity of Kidd’s injury.
