Note On WWE’s Booking Plans For Wrestlemania, Card Likely To Not Be Final Until Late
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that at this time “virtually nothing” for Wrestlemania 37 is a lock. It was also noted that for the first time ever, WWE is holding a PPV twenty days before Wrestlemania, after Fast Lane was announced for March 21. Wrestlemania happens on April 10-11. This means the card won’t be finalized until late March at the earliest.
It’s said that there is no clear TV direction for the main matches at Mania at this time. The top RAW championship matches are not locked in. As for Smackdown, there are two different opponents being considered for Universal Champion Roman Reigns, with Daniel Bryan being one of them.
The other was not revealed, but it was said that it is not Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura turned face after winning three matches in a gauntlet match two weeks ago, then beat Jey Uso last week.
