NXT Taping Results For Next Week’s Episode, Takeover Live Notes (SPOILERS)

I am live at Takeover: Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Arena.

For the first time, the Kickoff show is live as they are broadcasting it.

Renee Young and Corey Graves presented Asuka with a 2017 Competitor of the Year award on the entrance ramp.

The announcing team for this Wednesday’s NXT TV is Mauro Ranallo and Percy Watson.

Gabe Sapolsky is sitting second row ringside.

There was an XFL chant at one point.

Nikki Cross pinned Lacey Evans with a neckbreaker. She attacked her at the bell. Evans cut her off and looked good as a heel. She missed a moonsault setting up Cross’ comeback. Cross’ offense looked great.

TM-61 defeated The Ealy Brothers with the T Gimmick. Good spotlight for 61 with nice aerial moved and teamwork.

Roderick Strong pinned Tyler Bate in an excellent, physical match to become the top contender for the UK championship. The last five minutes were incredible.
