Penta Replaces Solo Sikoa, Qualifies For Money In the Bank On WWE Raw

Penta is headed to Money in the Bank, making a last-second substitution in the main event of WWE Raw to qualify for the men’s MITB match. The headlining bout on Monday night’s episode was the men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match, with Solo Sikoa set to battle Dragon Lee and Dominik Mysterio.

However, Sikoa did not compete in the match as the 946 attacked him backstage just before the bout and kidnapped him, driving away with him in the trunk. That led to Penta being added to the match.

The nearly 19-minute match concluded as Mysterio exposed a turnbuckle and went to throw Penta into it. However, Penta reversed and Mysterio went into the turnbuckle, then took a springboard Mexican Destroyer for the pinfall.

Penta joins Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, and Trick Williams in the men’s Money in the Bank match, which takes place at (of course) WWE Money in the Bank on October 10th from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana and airs live on ESPN Unlimited in the US, plus Netflix internationally.
