Ratings Breakdown For AEW Winter Is Coming

As previously reported, AEW Winter is Coming not only performed better than last year, but it also did better than the inaugural edition in 2020. The show had 950,000 viewers and a 0.33 rating (428,000 viewers) in 18-49. It also had a 0.24 in 18-34. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has an updated look at the numbers, including for each individual quarter hour.
Dynamite actually was ahead of RAW this week in a couple of measures, including teenage boys and men 18-34, but RAW was still far ahead in men 35-49 and men 18-49 (313,000 RAW to 300,000 Dynamite). Dynamite also performed better than ABC and FOX on network TV.
Overall, Dynamite was #3 for the night behind the NBA on ESPN. The game between the New York Knicks and the Chicago Bulls had 1,241,000 viewers and a 0.45 rating. AEW was #6 in women 18-49, #3 in men 18-49, #3 in 18-34, #3 in women 12-34 and #2 in men 12-34.
It performed better than last week (which was affected by a technical issue from Spectrum), although the percentages were not provided. Compared to last year, the show was up 0.4% in viewers, up 7.5% in 18-49 and up 26.1% in 18-34. Winter is Coming had 117,000 viewers in men 18-34, 52,000 in women 18-34, 183,000 in men 35-49 and 76,000 in women 35-49. The audience was 70.1% male in 18-49. The show did an 0.17 in 12-17, 0.24 in 18-34, 0.42 in 35-49 and 0.41 in 50+.
