A new report shows that WWE ticket prices have almost doubled since the company was merged with the UFC into TKO. Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston published a report on Tuesday using date from Pollstar which shows the increase in ticket prices. The average price of tickets for Raw and Smackdown went from $57 ($60 when adjusted for inflation) in 2023 to $73 in 2024 ($75 adjusted for inflation) and $118 in 2025.
That number is much higher than the average increase for wider live event tours. Average ticket prices by that metric went from $136 ($144 under inflation) to $140 in 2025. By another comparison, NBA tickets increased from $118 for the 2023 to 2024 season to $144 for 2024 – 2025.
TKO has been criticized for their ticket price increases, with some concern that WWE is pricing out families. TKO President & COO Mark Shapiro has explicitly stated that he felt WWE ticket prices were too low and that ticket prices still have “more room to go.”
By one more comparison, the report notes that AEW”s ticket prices have decreased during the same time period. In 2023, the average AEW ticket price was $52 ($55 adjusted for inflation). The 2024 AEW average ticket price landed at $51 ($52 under inflation) and 2025 was $49.
Despite the increase in ticket prices, attendance for WWE events has not dropped. WrestlTix reports that average tickets distributed rose from 9,900 in 2023 to 11,000 in 2024. It rose again to 11,500 thus far in 2025.
