Rey Mysterio Talks Undertaker’s Creative Process in AAA

Rey Mysterio has previously praised the Undertaker’s work in creative for AAA, as one might expect from a former in-ring colleague. In an interview with BANG Showbiz, however, he was asked if he sees any different side to the man now, which gave Rey a chance to expand on Taker’s creative thinking.
“Well, it’s crazy. I mean that he’s really the same person,” said Rey. “There’s really no change. We just didn’t know — at least, most of us didn’t know — how he really operated. The way he’s operating now in Triple A is the way he has always operated in the ring when he had different opponents: whether it was Kane, whether it was Khali, myself, or John Cena. He knows ‘where, when, and why,’ and I believe that’s what he’s applying in Triple A.”
As to how that fits with the previous creative elements, Rey simply said it’s a bonus. “[He’s] not taking anything away from from Lucha,” Rey said. “‘Leaving everything the way you guys have built it for over 90 years. Let me just now add this,’ and the recipe has been incredible.”
Mysterio got trounced by Omos yesterday at AAA Triplemania 34, following interference from Dominik Mysterio.
