Ridge Holland Says His WWE Contract Is Not Being Renewed

Ridge Holland’s WWE contract is coming to an end and he will be leaving the company. Holland posted to his Twitter account to announce that his current WWE contract expires in November and it will not be renewed.
Holland wrote:
“I’ve been informed that WWE will not be renewing my contract when it ends on November 14th. WWE are still going to cover my rehab from injury but my guaranteed pay will end, quite frustrating to say the least as I cannot work for another 6 months due to the aforementioned injury, with a family of 5 to support.
My career with WWE has been blighted by misfortune but I’m still thankful and grateful for the opportunity and experience. The shining light that has always kept me going is the HUGE support from a handful of special human beings.
Thank you.
I’m unsure what lies ahead of me in terms of wrestling but going forward I will be working hard to heal up and in that time I will be launching my own online coaching business…..so stay tuned.

Holland signed with WWE back in May of 2018 and made his in-ring debut in July of that year. He debuted on NXT TV in August of 2020, moving to Smackdown in the 2021 Draft where he aligned with Sheamus and Pete Dunne as part of the Brawling Brutes. Holland delivered the belly-to-belly suplex on Big E. that resulted in the New Day member suffering a broken neck. E. and many others in the company spoke out in his defense over the criticism he received.
Holland moved back to NXT in December of 2023 and had a run with Chase U, notching a brief reign as NXT Tag Team Champions. He moved to Evolve in July of this year and is currently out of action after suffering an injury in a match with Moose on a TNA Impact taping that will require surgery.
His time as a WWE superstar has come to an end for now.
