Rumor On Joey Mercury’s Alleged Involvement With BJ Whitmer/Kelly Klein Divorce

It was reported last week that BJ Whitmer announced his divorce from Kelly Klein, which he said was because she “breached the trust in our relationship by stepping outside of our marriage.” In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that Joey Mercury is believed to be the one she was involved with. Mercury’s Twitter account was suspended after he made comments about Whitmer.

Mercury, who publicly bashed ROH following his exit from the company, is also believed to have contacted several ROH wrestlers. The idea, allegedly, was that he was trying to get them out of their contracts and he would represent them in order to play WWE and AEW against each other and make more money. That never went anywhere because those in ROH felt he was trying to take the promotion down and nobody wanted that.
