Rusev Is Proud That He Made Sheamus Tap Out at WWE Clash in Paris

During an appearance on the WWE Clash in Paris recap, Rusev said that he was very proud that he made Sheamus tap out at yesterday’s premium live event. The two fought each other in a Donnybrook match and Rusev won with a shillelagh-assisted Accolade.
He said: “I’m very proud that he tapped out, because when I beat him before for the US title back in 2014, I believe, he didn’t tap out. He passed out. Then he went out there on X or Twitter, whatever you want to call it, and said, ‘hashtag never tapped out.’ Well, maybe we should go back in time and change that now, Sheamus. I’ve never been to a match like this. This is the most brutal match I’ve ever been to. My body is hurting. My mind is hurting. Everything hurts from top to bottom. But I am victorious, and I’m thankful to God for that.”
Rusev showed the entire world what he is capable of at WWE Clash in Paris. 😤
