Scorpio Sky Explains the Brass Ring From AEW Revolution Was Actually Heavy
– During this week’s edition of Wrestling With the Week, AEW wrestler Scorpio Sky discussed the brass ring in the ladder match at AEW Revolution. Sky noted that while people were joking about the giant ring looking like it came out of the Sonic the Hedgehog games, it was actually quite heavy. Below is an excerpt (Fightful).
“People were getting their jokes in about that Sonic ring, but that thing was heavy. It was really heavy. People were like, ‘Oh, you gonna take that home?’ ‘Hell no,’ because I’m not going through security. It’s legitimately 25 or 30 pounds. It’s so heavy. It wasn’t even easy to get off the hook because you really had to lift it off. It was not light at all. That will probably be the last people see of that unless they do another Face of the Revolution match.”
Scorpio Sky won the Face of the Revolution ladder match at last Sunday’s event. It also featured Max Caster, Lance Archer, Cody Rhodes, Penta El Zero Miedo, and the debuting Ethan Page.
