Swerve Strickland & New Level Make First World Trios Title Defense On AEW Dynamite

The New Level made their AEW Dynamite in-ring debuts alongside Swerve Strickland, making their first defense of the AEW World Trios Championships. Austin Creed, Kofi and Strickland put their titles on the line during Wednesday night’s show against Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz, and Myron Reed.
The match lasted 13 minutes and saw the two teams trade plenty of offense. While The Rascalz were able to isolate Creed early on, he battled back and it became back and forth until the finish when Strickland hit a House Call off the top. Kofi then set Xavier up for a double stomp from Creed, and Strickland hit another House Call for the pinfall victory.
You can see the clips from the AEW Dynamite match below. This is the first defense for Strickland and New Level of their Trios Championship reign, which stands at three days after they won them in the Royale Roulette at All In.
