Tatum Paxley Agrees To Women’s North American Title Match With Zaria On WWE NXT

Zaria managed to secure an NXT Women’s North American Championship match from Tatum Paxley on this week’s episode of WWE NXT. Tuesday night’s show saw Zaria battle Lizzy Rain. Rain put up a good fight, but Zaria picked up the win in about 10 and a half minutes.

After the match, Zaria went to go assault Rain further and Paxley, who was on commentary, came in to stop it. She prevented Zaria from hitting her finisher again and said that if Zaria wanted a title shot so badly, she could have one next week. Later in the show, Zaria attacked Paxley backstage to soften her up for next week.

Zaria had attacked both Paxley and Rain on last week’s NXT after Paxley retained the title against Rain. Paxley’s title reign currently stands at 88 days, having won it from Izzi Dame at NXT Vengeance Day in March. You can see clips from tonight’s WWE NXT match and post-match below.
