Ted DiBiase Details Recent Airport Incident That Left Him With Black Eye

On a recent airport incident: “Well, it wasn’t a bump that I intended to take. I was hustling through the Atlanta airport, and as I was getting to the gate that I was actually going out of, there were some kids there, and they were playing around, and they were just, you know, kids being kids. And I’m walking in, and I can’t describe to you just how it happened. But they, you know, one of them, like, fell right in front of me, and I had no choice. I did a face pump. I mean, I went down. My glasses [are] a little affected by it. But anyway, I went down hard, buddy. It was like the gate attendant that boards everybody basically came to me and they got, like a red rag.”

On having a black eye: “You know, I’ve got a little bit of a black eye, and the rest of it, it’s my right side. I had it checked out yesterday. I didn’t break anything. But I have had a broken rib before. And if you have a broken rib, I mean, you can’t breathe. Even though there’s nothing broken, you know, and I’ve got a really good bruise, but like, right about here, it’s so sore.”

On it being embarrassing: “Talk about the embarrassment, right? You know the Million Dollar Man takes a big bump in the Atlanta airport.”
