On the latest episode of Everybody’s Got a Pod, WWE Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase talked about WWE’s infamous 1998 Brawl For All tournament.  The legitimate boxing/shoot-fighting tournament saw several wrestlers injured, including “Dr. Death” Steve Williams, whose WWE push was derailed as a result. You can check out some highlights below:

On the WWE Brawl for All tournament: “Horrible [business]. I don’t know whose idea that ever was, but it’s a bad one… Well, I don’t have much respect for that asshole [Vince Russo coming up with the idea], either. And you know, it may — I don’t know. Maybe I’m being too harsh, but…”

On being paired with Williams: “Well again, and in Mid-South the reason that Doc and I, we gelled so well together and did that. And Bill [Watts] — it sounds like I’m tooting my own horn. But Bill put him with me, because I could help him [on the mic].”
