TNA Congratulates Mike Santana on His Official WWE Debut

TNA Wrestling congratulates Mike Santana on his official WWE NXT debut.

As noted previously, Santana showed up on last night’s episode of WWE NXT following Tony D’Angelo’s successful defense of the NXT Championship against Naraku in a Street Fight.

Though the commentators didn’t take his name, they did acknowledge him as a former TNA World Champion. Earlier today, TNA Wrestling congratulated Mike Santana on his official WWE debut via social media.

“Congratulations to @Santana_Proud on his monumental debut on last night’s @WWENXT!” TNA wrote.

Santana’s hugely successful stint with TNA ended at Slammiversary last month when he lost the world championship to Nic Nemeth. He is a two-time TNA World Champion, and his contract with the company expired on July 15.
