Mike Santana Reacts to His WWE NXT Appearance Last Night

Former TNA World Champion Mike Santana has reacted to his appearance on WWE NXT last night.

As noted previously, Tony D’Angelo defeated Naraku in a Street Fight to retain the NXT Championship. As he was celebrating his victory, Santana’s music hit, and the former TNA star walked through the audience to a massive pop.

However, the commentators didn’t mention his name and only referred to him as the “former TNA World Champion.”

Following his NXT appearance, Mike Santana took to social media and wrote:

“Sh*t just got REAL. #WWENXT!”

Santana is a two-time TNA World Champion. His last TNA match took place at Slammiversary last month, when he lost the world title to Nic Nemeth in the main event. His contract expired on July 15. Santana is no stranger to NXT, as he has made several appearances on WWE’s developmental brand as part of TNA’s working relationship with the company.
