Toni Storm Defeats Marina Shafir At AEW Revolution, Confronted By Ronda Rousey After

Toni Storm was victorious over Marina Shafir, defeating her at AEW Revolution before getting confronted by Ronda Rousey. Sunday night’s show saw Storm beat Shafir in a hard-hitting match that went just under 10 minutes. Storm picked up the win via a small package.

After the match, Storm went to the stage and laid down, only to have Rousey step into the ring. The former WWE and UFC star called for Storm to come back to the ring, which Storm promptly did. Officials quickly pulled them apart but in the process, Shafir sucked punched Storm and knocked her out. Rousey and Shafir then left together. You can see the highlights below from the match.

Rousey is of course best known for her time in the UFC and WWE, both runs of which saw her hold championships. She exited WWE in 2023. She is set to fight Gina Carano in her MMA return on a bout for Most Valuable Promotions that will air on Netflix on May 16th.

There is word as of this writing as to whether Rousey is set to do more with AEW going forward beyond Sunday night’s one appearance. She previously worked a match for ROH alongside Shafir in 2023.
