Update on Alicia Atout’s AEW Contract Status

Alicia Atout, who returned to AEW in 2024, hasn’t been heard from in a while…on TV. In real life, of course, she got married to MJF last September, and presumably can take all the time off she wants if his contract is as lucrative as he frequently claims. (Would MJF ever exaggerate?)

However, in Fightful Select’s latest Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed she’s still under contract to AEW, though he adds, “I don’t know how often she’s there.”

It could be a case of AEW taking her off TV while her marriage is fresh in everyone’s memory, so her status as a broadcaster doesn’t always get sucked into whatever angle MJF is doing. Jon Moxley and Renee Paquette manage it, but they’d been together almost a decade before they both arrived in AEW. Atout is still in the honeymoon phase of praising her husband on social media. She has had a heel role in MLW, so that’s always something she could potentially do again.

For now, there’s no word on when we’ll see her again, but with her contract still active, it seems likely that we will eventually, in one role or another.
