Various News: Note on Mask Joey Janela Wore at The Wrld on GCW, Rikishi Meets Destiny Fomo at NYCC, the Freakiest Matches in WWE History
– As noted, Jun Kasai beat Joey Janela in a deathmatch at last week’s The Wrld on GCW event. PWInsider reports that Joey Janela came out to the ring wearing a mask that was given to him by filmmaker Harmony Korine. Korine also previously directed the 2012 film, Spring Breakers, which featured AEW’s Jeff Jarrett.
– WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi met Destiny Fomo at New York Comic-Con over the weekend. Destiny held up a sign next to Rikishi asking if he can give her the Stinkface. Rikishi said, “I can’t do that to you! Look at my butt and your face!” You can see a clip of their meeting below:
