Wrathlander Assert That They’re The Perfect Predators for the Brawling Birds in New Vignette

AEW released a new exclusive digital vignette on social media, where the team of Wrathlander (Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron) size up their competition, AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor). Wrathlander recently earned a shot at the titles earlier this month on AEW Collision: Grand Slam France, and now they’re keen to challenge the champs.

In the video, Statlander and Cameron pose as bird watchers, and Statlander references Jamie Hayter’s current injury. Cameron replies, “You’re right, Stat. One of them is injured. It is. And the other one, it appears to be mating with an Ospreay!”

Statlander continues, “A lot of people fear Brawling Birds because they’re strong, dominant. But every creature has its perfect predator, an equal opponent, something they should fear. So sit tight, Brawling Birds. Wrathlander is coming!”

Cameron adds, “And that’s a metaphor. Jamie and Alex are the birds, and Wrathlander is the predator.” Statlander then carries her tag team partner offscreen.

It’s unknown when Wrathlander will be getting their shot at the titles. During a recent video he shared on social media, AEW President Tony Khan said he expects Jamie Hayer will be able to return to in-ring action from her injury in about two weeks’ time.

Regardless, Wrathlander will be the next opponents for the reigning champions.

"A lot of people fear Brawling Birds because they're strong, dominant. But every creature has its perfect predator … Something they should fear."
