WWE News: Roman Reigns Still Considered Top Guy By Vince McMahon, New Day Merchandise Sales Slowing

– Despite Roman Reigns’ losses to Brock Lesnar, Vince McMahon still considers him as the top guy in the company. Speaking on the Backstage in WWE podcast, Brad Shepard of Bodyslam.net said that McMahon hasn’t been turned off of Reigns as “The Man” within WWE.

Shepard added that despite Braun Strowman’s growing fanbase and McMahon’s interest in him, the company is still moving ahead with the idea of getting Reigns over as their main star in the future.

– It was noted on the same podcast that the New Day’s merchandise sales have slowed somewhat. The current speculation is that the team’s gimmick may have run its course.
